What Is ThermiSmooth?
ThermiSmooth represents a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment addressing multiple age-related skin concerns. The procedure firms sagging, crepey skin and smooths fine lines and wrinkles, including delicate areas around the lips and eyes.
Treatment & Results
During treatment, practitioners apply conductive gel and use a handheld device swept across treatment zones in gentle circles, taking 5–15 minutes per area. The radiofrequency energy works without penetrating the skin surface. Patients experience no pain and describe sensations as “a warm, gentle massage.” Initial tightening occurs immediately due to collagen fiber shrinkage, with continued improvement over six months as collagen production increases. Follow-up treatments every nine to twelve months maintain results.
Post Care
- Wash skin with tepid water and a gentle cleanser.
- If skin is slightly pink or red in areas after treatment, avoid hot water.
- Washing or showering until any pink has subsided.
- Makeup (preferably mineral-based) may be applied immediately post treatment.
- Soothing, non-irritating creams or moisturizers may be used.
- Use a sun block with an SPF of 30 or greater if going out into the sun to help prevent future sun damage. This treatment does not cause photosensitivity.
